Building on their earlier success with Thomas-Hill Pontiac Olds GMC (now Larry Hill Pontiac GMC, Sevierville, Tennessee), Joe Thomas and Larry Hill looked to continue serving the Sevier County area with a Chrysler dealership. Since it had been several years since the folks of this rapidly growing area had a local Chrysler auto dealer, they believed that the time was right. Joining with Steve Burgin, whose father Gene owned Burgin Dodge in Knoxville, they formed a partnership and opened Thomas-Hill-Burgin Chrysler Jeep Dodge in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in July 2001.
